Our Adoption Process

At Never Less Cat Rescue, we believe every cat deserves a loving, well-matched home. That’s why our adoption process is thoughtful, personal, and designed to ensure the best possible outcome for both you and your new feline companion.

Step 1: Submit an Adoption Application

Start by filling out our Adoption Application so we can get to know you and what you’re looking for. It helps us make sure the cat you're interested in is a good fit—or suggest others who might be.

Step 2: Application Review & Follow-Up

Once we receive your application, a member of our team will reach out. We may contact your vet and personal references and schedule a brief phone call to review your application and answer any questions.

Step 3: Meet-and-Greet (Optional, but Encouraged)

While not required, we love when adopters are able to meet their future kitty before finalizing adoption. If you're interested and it's logistically possible, we're happy to coordinate a meet-and-greet with the cat's foster. Please feel free to come to one of our monthly adoption events as well!

Step 4: Approval & Adoption Fee

Once you're approved, you'll receive:

• An adoption contract

• A link to submit the adoption fee

All of our cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV/heartworms, and microchipped.

Step 5: Going Home

We'll coordinate pickup or drop-off depending on your location and the cat's foster situation. Approved adopters are allowed to adopt from our adoption events directly too. You'll also receive a copy of medical records, and we're always here to support you after adoption.
