Never Less Cat Rescue’s
Foster-to-Adopt Program
Because some cats need more than a meet-and-greet.
Our Foster-to-Adopt program gives approved adopters the chance to welcome a cat into their home for a short trial period before finalizing adoption. It's a gentle and thoughtful way to support cats who need time to feel safe, build trust, and adjust at their own pace.
This program is especially helpful for shy or senior cats, or for adopters who want to give a cat the space to adjust gradually and reveal their true personality over time.
Some cats just need a little more time to adjust, connect, and let their real personality shine—something a quick meet-and-greet doesn’t always allow.
How It Works
Foster-to-Adopt is considered on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by the rescue.
Eligible cats are typically shy, slow-to-warm-up, or otherwise better suited to a longer introduction period.
The trial period is typically 2 weeks, with the option to extend up to 4 weeks if approved.
The adopter must already be fully approved through our adoption application process.

If the match feels right and you're ready to make it official, we will finalize the adoption agreement and collect the adoption fee at that time.
